Yesterday evening I wandered into town to watch the Tour Series. For those of you who are unaware of it, it is a series of short course, city-centre bike races each of which last an hour or so. Oh and it is being televised on ITV4.

Christmas is a joyous and wondrous time for most that live amidst abundance of the West. Most of us have healthy children, have good jobs, have homes, food for the table and enough left over to give generous gifts to family and friends.
